FLTV to air interviews with 27th Congressional District candidates


Finger Lakes Television (FLTV) taped interviews today with the two Republicans running in the June 26 primary for the newly redrawn 27th Congressional District.
The interviews with Iraq War veteran David Bellavia and former Erie County Executive Chris Collins will be aired on FLTV, Channel 12 on the Time Warner cable system, on the following dates and times:
· Monday, June 11, 5 p.m.

· Tuesday, June 12, 5 p.m.

· Thursday, June 14, 5 p.m.

· Friday, June 15, 5 p.m.

· Saturday, June 16, 3:30 p.m.


FLTV is a public access channel available to Time Warner cable TV subscribers in all or parts of five counties (Ontario, Seneca, Wayne, Yates and Cayuga).

The winner of the June 26 primary is expected to face incumbent Rep. Kathleen Hochul,a Democrat from Amherst, Erie County.

The 27th Congressional District runs from Erie County to the western half of Ontario County. It includes the following:

· Ontario County towns of Bristol, South Bristol, Canadice, East Bloomfield, West Bloomfield, Richmond, Farmington, Victor; the town and city of Canandaigua; and the town of Naples west of Route 21. (The east side of Route 21 in the town of Naples is in the 29th Congressional District, currently represented by Tom Reed.)

· All of Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming and Livingston counties.

· Most of Niagara County.

· Several Erie County suburbs.
