Local residents can recycle old electronics on Earth Day, Sunday, April 22, by dropping them off in the Constellation Brands Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center parking lot, off East Lake Road, on the Finger Lakes Community College campus.
Electronics will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. by representatives of Sunnking, which specializes in collecting, refurbishing, reselling, and recycling equipment and electronic products. Sunnking, which has facilities in Buffalo, Rochester and Brockport, keeps more than 10 million pounds of discarded electronics out of landfills annually.
Acceptable materials include computers, printers, ink cartridges, computer accessories, copies, pagers, GPS units, MP3 players, televisions and microwave ovens. A full list is available at www.sunnking.com/acceptable-materials.
