Finger Lakes Community College and G. W. Lisk Co. will host a training class for certified soldering instructors May 21 to 25 at the FLCC Victor Campus Center, 200 Victor Heights Parkway.
Companies can reduce their soldering certification and recertification costs by having an employee trained as a certified IPC-A-610 trainer. This four-day course is designed to qualify the successful candidate to teach co-workers the appropriate accept/reject criteria for soldered electrical and electronic assemblies. Students will be certified by IPC and given the instructional materials to conduct IPC-610 worker proficiency training.
The class runs from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. Registration and an application fee of $1,300 are due by April 27, at 4 p.m. The early bird registration fee of $1,250 is due by April 20 at 4 p.m. Call (585) 785-1906 to register or email to email@example.com.
