Evening, weekend real estate licensing course

Finger Lakes Community College will offer a real estate licensing course on evenings and weekends, starting June 18, at the Canandaigua campus.
The 75-hour course with instructor John Waugh will run Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 9:30 p.m. and Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Canandaigua campus, 3325 Marvin Sands Drive, room D365.
“Most real-estate courses are offered during the day, requiring people to take time off work or other responsibilities. We wanted to offer an alternative,” said Lynn Freid, FLCC’s manager of training and business development.
The cost is $495, including course materials. For information or to register, contact Charlene Fairman in the FLCC Office of Professional Development and Continuing Education at (585) 785-1660 or fairmacc@flcc.edu.

  1. The real estate market is ever expanding and highly beneficial for those who decide to pursue the field. The key elements to a career in real estate are: a sound and convincing presence, proper knowledge of the market, and patience coupled with perseverance. Apart from all this, a person requires a real estate license to legally practice as an agent or broker.
