Piscataway Nation performers visit FLCC

The internationally-renowned Piscataway Indian Nation Singers and Dancers, recognized for their living history program and performing in the movie “Dances With Wolves,” will be at Finger Lakes Community College on Wednesday, April 13.

The group will perform at 12:45 p.m. in Stage 13 on the second floor of the main campus, 3325 Marvin Sands Drive. Parking is available in the lot in front of the main building and in the Constellation Brands Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center lot. Handicap accessible parking is directly in front of the FLCC building. This FLCC Diversity Series event is free and open to the public.
Frequent contributors to TV specials on the History Channel and Discovery Channel, the Piscataway Indian Nation Singers and Dancers conduct workshops, present lectures and perform authentic American Indian dances and drum and vocal music.
The Piscataway Nation Singers and Dancers often appear at the Smithsonian’s Museum of the American Indian, national pow-wows, major festivals and colleges across the country, entertaining and educating audiences about Native American history, culture and contemporary issues.
