FLCC students will give their end-of-the-year concerts featuring a variety of musical styles over several days in early May.
The performances, which are free and open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. in room B355 on the third floor of the college, 3325 Marvin Sands Drive in Canandaigua.
Parking is available in the lots in front of and behind the main building. Handicap accessible parking is available directly in front of the main building.
May 2, 3 and 4: Jazz Concerts with a different ensemble each night.
May 5: Honors Recital with 10 to 12 of the finest instrumental and vocal students. Annually, students are nominated by their instructors and audition before a panel of music faculty members. Most of the students will perform solos with piano accompaniment.
May 12: Composers Forum Recital with students and alumni performing their original compositions. Composers from the community are also welcome to take part. The performances are on a first-come first-served basis. The recital is approximately 90 minutes long.
